Over the last 15 years I've served in many roles in the Digital Marketing space. Before that I spent years making my way through the local advertising agency market. But my career didn't start until I unintentionally found my way into Experimentation and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). I've had the opportunity to both build experimentation programs and cultures from the ground up and refine and scale existing programs.
I first pitched Experimentation as a Practice two years ago in an effort to change leadership's conservative and often passive approach to experimentation and optimization efforts. It seemed so obvious - treat the practice as a business unit rather than an execution tactic. At my core I still believe in the value of
